"De Wielerbaan" is located directly on the 'De Eng' area. This area is characterized by slopes in the landscape on the north side of the Wageningen Berg, where the old football stadium 'De wageningse Berg" is located.
In the immediate vicinity is the nature very varied, can be called the Wageningen mountain with many (forest) walks, Ginkel Heath with the sheep and shepherd, the Infield with the beautiful farm roads and broken unspoiled natural beauty and of course the beautiful scenery at the banks of the Rhine ferry.
Wageningen is where the Veluwe, Utrecht Ridge, Gelderland Valley and Betuwe come together. This beautiful regions ensure variety and beauty. Ideally therefore, the spider's web of bicycle and hiking trails in the area. Here and there a ferry to the other side, or sails Grebbeberg, you'll be amazed at the possibilities!


You are close to the A12 and A15, so very central to plan a day in Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Eindhoven.

If you use public transport, Ede-Wageningen station is the center of your entertainment options. With the train to Utrecht is just half an hour, Amsterdam an hour down in the seat of the train.
. You do have to take the bus to Ede station, you can get on and off at the 'Buissteeg' stop.

Cycling or walking is utterly beautiful, Wageningen is cycling city No. 1 and you can walk a 'Klompenpad' right from the exit of the park.
The area is very wooded, for example a picnic on the Ginkelse heide is a highlight of your stay in Wageningen.
